Programmatically, through Luz de Esperanza, Apoyo Apostolica Para Panama, Inc. provides economically disadvantaged students, families and communities with humanitarian and financial aid, scholarships, health/wellness programs, career development, mentoring, tutoring, life skills training, computer classes, childcare, and enrichment education for all people.
Luz de Esperanza has over 25 community locations throughout Panama, including: Peno Nome, Vera Cruz, Darien Province, Nueva Gorgona, Nueva Chorillo, Panama City, and Tocumen to name a few.
Luz de Esperanza and Apoyo Apostolica Para Panama are the Panamanian and American arms of the same organization. In Panama, Light of Hope is known programmatically as Luz de Esperanza. Apoyo Apostolica Para Panama in the United States of America is known programmatically as Light of Hope. These organizations were formed simultaneously to meet the pressing needs of the Panamanian people living and working in the areas surrounding partnering congregations.
Apoyo Apostolica Para Panama, Inc., through its network of churches and nonprofit organizations, offers family activities to improve relationships, career success and financial educational, housing, emotional, physical, and spiritual health.
